Frances Belle Scott was born September 14, 1870 in Winchester, Ohio.
She was united in marriage September 14, 1861 to William Scott, a Baptist minister of Climax Springs, Missouri, who preceded her in death September 7, 1935.
She gave her heart to the Lord early in her life and remained a faithful servant of His. She was always the happiest when telling others of her Savior or singing His praises.
She came to make her home with her nephew, Homer Connell and family, also a sister Mrs. Caroline Dougherty and other nieces and nephews in Manter, Kansas.
Pall bearers were W. H. Gillen, Orris Bently, Francis Gilliland, Boyd Sellers, Nels Larson, and Charles Vestal. Music was by Mrs. Horace Greenwood, Burial was at the Emerson Cemetery. Mrs. Ira Cheney sang a solo.
