Services for Frieda C. Kain, 86, Medaryville, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Medaryville.
She died at 9:35 p.m. Thursday in Pulaski Memorial Hospital.
Born May 31, 1905, in Crocker, Ind., she was the daughter of Fred and Augusta Karoline Scholz Hoeckelberg. OnApril 19. 1928, in Medaryville, she was married to Carl T. Kain, who survives.
A homemaker, she had lived most of her life in the Medaryville area.
Mrs. Kain was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Medaryville, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was also a member of the church's Ladies Aid Society.
Also surviving are one son, Howard S., Medaryville; three daughters, Helen Kalas and Betty Conley, both of Valparaiso, and Barbara A. Kain, Medaryville; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
One grandson preceded in death.
The Rev. Normand Widiger will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today in Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home and tow hours prior to the services Monday in the church.
