Memorial services for Lpften Richard (Dick) Boyd, Jr., 70, of Teague were held Friday in the First United Methodist Church of Teague with Rev. Spencer Guimarin and Rev. Lester Ruth officiating. Graveside services were Saturday, June 18, in True Cemetery near Olney. He died June 15, at a Waco hospital.

Born November 12,1917, in Teague, he was the organizer and manager of the Teague Brick and Tile Company.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Boyd of Teague; two sons, Roy Steven Boyd of Palestine and Bruce Carlton Autry of Olney; two daughters, Martha Boyd Pounds of East Point, Ga., and Kim Autry Collier of Beaumont; a sister Rachael Boyd Dunlap of Dallas; his step-mother, Vaudiene Boyd of Fairfield; and eight grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Ricks Funeral Home of Teague.
