Funeral Services Are Held This Afternoon For Monroe Resident
Funeral services were held this afternoon for Peter Edward Fugate, 78, former road contractor, who died at 8:10 o'clock Saturday evening at his home in Monroe. Death was caused by complications.
Mr. Fugate was born in Home [sic] county, Ohio, April 19, 1862, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Fugate. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Weymich [sic], who survives. He had resided in Adams county for the past 76 years.
Surviving besides the widow, are one son, Clyde Fugate of Bronson, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Bertha (cut off)

Decatur, Sept. 9 –
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Monroe Methodist Church for Peter E. Fugate, former road contractor, who died Saturday night at his home in Monroe. Burial was in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, formerly Mary Weymich; one son, Clyde of Bronson, Mich., and one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Landis of Adams County.
