In 1916 his wife Fannie passed away.

In 1920 his wife, Mrs. Flossie Baldozier passed away.
In addition to his children he leaves to mourn his passing six grandchildren and three sisters, Mira Ryan of Meadow Grove, Neb., Effie Blackman of Shenandoah and Matilda Fleming of Henderson and a number of nieces and nephews, also a host of friends.
While his life was filled with sorrow he still had a kind word for a friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
