Death Of Mrs. John Baldozier
After, a long period of ill health Mrs. John Baldozier passed away at her home three miles south of Hastings, Thursday, April 6. She had been very sick but the past two or three weeks.
Funeral services were held from First Presbyterian church in Emerson, Saturday, April 8 at 2:30 p. m. and were conducted by Rev, M. A. Gable pastor of tho Methodist church at Malvern and a former pastor of the deceased. The following obituary was read at the services:
Fannie McMullin Baldozier was born in Mills County three miles north of Hastings, January 11, 1872,
nd spent the most of her life in that vicinity. She has been in failing health, for a number of years, lung trouble being the cause of her illness, All that loving hands could do for her was done, but in vain, and she passed away at her home south of Hastings, April 6. She was united inv marriage to John Baldozier, September 10, 1902. Four children were born to them, one dying in infancy and the others, twin hoys, ten years of age and another son twelve years of age with the sorrowing father survive her.
She leaves to mourn besides these, five sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Marshall Ruby of Orleans, Nebr,, Mrs. Chas. Pratt of Imbler, Oregon, Mrs, Rudolph Tries of Omaha, Mrs. Randolph Salmons, Mrs, Matt Young, and Wm. McMullin of Emerson, Frank McMullin qf Ericson, Nebr. and Edward McMullin of Montana.
She united with the, Methodist church at Hastings at an early age and retained her membership through life, living a good, true Christian life. She was a most devoted wife and mother, living alone for her family. She leaves a place that wo;; never be filled. Our earnest sympathy is extended the sorrowing husband and sons.
