Preceded in death by her mother, Eva Catherine Schmidt and her husband Paul G. Starr. Kay is survived by her devoted daughter Dr. Kara K. James (Tim), Wichita, KS, son Todd A. Starr (Elizabeth), Naperville, IL, daughters Shann R. Laccabue (Matt), Tampa, FL and Lynn M. Zito (Chris), Viera, FL., her father Raymond Schmidt, Clermont, FL, sisters Barbara Bell (Jon), Salina, KS, Jody Cramer (Bill), Boca Raton, FL, Patti Bock (Dave), Jamestown, IN and seven loving grandchildren, Isaac James, Kaia James, Sarah Starr, Katherine Starr, Christopher Galati, Jonathan Zito and Joshua Zito. Services will be held Monday, August 16th 2010 at Becker Funeral Home in Clermont, FL at 10 a.m., (viewing from 9:30 to 10 a.m.) Kay will be buried with her husband Paul at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL).
