Margie Christine Kight, 75, of Riverdale, passed away at her residence, Sunday, April 27, 2003. She was the secretary and bookkeeper for the Wallace Kight Farm in Riverdale and a member of the Riverdale Community United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Wallace Kight, Statesboro, Ga., Kenneth Sherman Kight, St. Augustine; sister, Annabelle Scherer Solano, Elkton; brothers, Jack William Scherer, Jacksonville, Lester Eugene Scherer, Stuart; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five step- grandchildren and eight step-great -grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wallace S. Kight.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2003 in the Evergreen Cemetery in St. Augustine. The family received friends at the Craig Funeral Home in St. Augustine, Wednesday, April 30, 2003 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A reception was held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2003 at the Riverdale Community United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Riverdale Community United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the care of Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Viera, Fla.
