Visitation for Mr. Earnest M. McGlothlin will be at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Bay Springs Cemetery in Chopin with Reverends Jim Winegeart, J.D. Brown, and Jimmy Autin officiating.
Mr. McGlothlin, age 82, of Alexandria, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Christus Grace Home in Alexandria.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Joy D. McGlothlin of Alexandria; two sons, James McGlothlin and wife, Kay of Boyce and Gary McGlothlin of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; three brothers, Harold McGlothlin and wife, Ethel of Alexandria, Johnny McGlothilin and wife, Alline of Boyce, A.B. McGlothlin and wife, Shirley of Bonham, Texas; one sister, Catheryn "Sis" Guin of Pineville; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by his parents, E.E. "Doc" and Della Cline McGlothlin; daughter, Wanda Faye Bass; two brothers, Elmo McGlothlin and Willard McGlothlin; two sisters, Myrtle Kegley and Edna McKinley, daughter-in-law, Debbie McGlothlin.
