George McAfee Williams, 93, died at Hamilton Sunday June 6, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr. Williams was born March 4, 1911 in the Beattie Community of Comanche County, the second child of Logan Riley Williams and Jennie Frances Strickland Williams. He was married to Alta Lucille Fisher on Jan. 4, 1936. To this union three children were born, Gwynda Bullard, Lyndon Williams and Martha Graves.

He later married Wilma Leone Main on Aug. 21, 1949. She preceded him in death on Feb. 23, 1999. Mr. Williams was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He was a farmer most of his working years, later going into the dairy business, then Pure Milk delivery and still later becoming a retail salesman at Ken's True Value Hardware.

He retired in 1988 at the age of 77. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton for 50 years and served as a deacon. He was a long time member of the Hamilton Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, stepmother Addie Williams, brother Ardis Williams and son George Lyndon Williams.

Survivors include his daughters, Gwynda and husband Harry Bullard and Martha and husband Bob Graves; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mason Bullard, Steve Ortiz, David Quayle, Scott Conrad, Logan, Bullard, Tim Miller, Landon Bullard, Aaron Ortiz and Brennan Quayle.
