Pearlie Mae Grider Conover, 61, died at the Baptist Hospital, Louisville, September 9. Mrs. Conover, who lived on Sano Route, professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, Ben H. Conover, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Pete Powell, Columbia; Mrs. Woodrow Grider, Carthage, Tenn.; Mrs. Achilles Carter, Russell Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Mont Wilson, Columbia; Mrs. John Atchley and Mrs. Vergie Conover, both of Russell Springs; three brothers, Marvin Grider, Russell Springs; Vernon Grider, Cincinnati, Ohio; Everett Grider, Chenoa, Ill.; five grandchildren, Avanell and J.B. Powell, Janet Grider, Ray and Rurie Carter, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services, conducted by the Reverend Otis Wolford, were held September 11 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements were by Stotts & Phelps. Interment was in the Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Pete Powell, Achilles Carter, Woodrow Grider, Marvin Grider, Vernon Grider, and Everett Grider.
