Private services for Carl F. "Fetch" Austin, 67, of Varna, a partner in Varna Auto Service, will be tomorrow at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon, IL.
Burial will be in First Lutheran Cemetery #2.
There will be no visitation.
Mr. Austin died at 2 a.m. yesterday at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley, IL.
He was born in Varna on May 27, 1906, a son of John and Anna Maria Lundgren Austin. He married Leona Jesse in 1950.
Surviving are his widow; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Munson of Midlothian and Mrs. Ruth Benson of Varna, and four brothers, Maynard and Clarence, both of Varna, Floyd of rural Tonica and Melvin of San Francisco, CA.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church of Varna and the American Legion.
Memorials may be made to the church.
