Mrs. Melba Louise Boatright, age 82, a resident of The Oakes, Carrollton, Ga., passed away November 16, 2010. She was born September 25, 1928 in Carrollton, Georgia the daughter of the late Pearlie Mae Stitcher Boatright and William Otto Boatright.

Mrs. Boatright was a homemaker and a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jewell Evelyn Willis, Jessie Katherine Kidd, Ruby Hazel Boatright, Mary Grace Woodall and Doris Gentry; brothers, Hugh Dorsey Boatright, Thomas Watson Boatright, William Fredrick Boatright, Charles Joseph Boatright and Talmadge Kenneth Boatright.

Survivors include nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 2 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Cross Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.
