Loretta A. Fredericks, 50, of Greenwich died early Friday morning, Aug. 13, 2010, in Cleveland Clinic.
She was born June 11, 1960, in Norwalk, and lived most of her life in Huron County. Loretta was a former private duty home health aide and was a former employee of Huron Health Care Center, the bakery department of Cardinals Grocery Store in Norwalk, Norstat Inc. of Norwalk and the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands in New London. She enjoyed motorcycles, camping, working outside, taking care of her home, and being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Loretta is survived by her husband of 30 years, Curtis "Curt" A. Fredericks of Greenwich; children, Glenn C. and Kari Fredericks of Sandusky, Billy and Samantha Fredericks of Greenwich, Crystal and Timothy Smith of Sandusky, and by two daughters in Tucson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and one soon to be born; her mother and stepfather, Jeanette and James Wurth of Norwalk; brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Luena Hersha Sr. of Greenwich; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Terry Fulton of Greenwich, Carol and Ronald Brandt of Norwalk, Lynette and Douglas Brant Jr. of Steuben, Ohio, Jeanette and James Moulton of Greenwich and Katherine and Alvin Brant Sr. of Willard.
Loretta was preceded in death by her father, Raymond R. Hersha, in 1997.
Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
