TOLUCA: Martha E. Schulz,89, formerly of Toluca, IL, died at 10:38 a.m. Monday, January 15, 1996, at Maple Lawn Health Care in Eureka, IL.
Born February 21, 1906, in Jefferson County, Iowa, to Otto and Anna Attig Abel, she married Albert J. Schulz on May 15, 1943, in Lowpoint, IL. He died November 29, 1984. She also was preceded in death by two sisters and one half brother.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A school teacher for 42 years, she retired from Mid-County District 4 in Lacon-Varna.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Toluca, IL, where services will be at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. William Callister will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran #2 in rural Varna. Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon, IL is in charge of arrangements.
