John Cover died at his residence, near Elkton, Rockingham county, Va., on Thursday, 15th of October, aged 70 years and 18 days. Mr. Cover was a former resident of this county, but remoyed to Virginia, where he was quite extensively engaged in the tanning business. From this he retired a few years ago and was succeeded by his son, who has since been successfully engaged in the business. He was a son of the late Tobias Cover,a well-known resident of Uniontown district, and a brother of Samual Cover, of Westminster, Ephraim Cover, of Frizellburg, J. and T. Cover of Star Tannery Va., and H. Cover, of Uniontown.
