Mrs. West

Ocie West, 99, of Hamilton died Wednesday, April 14, 1993, at the Hamilton General Hospital. Funeral services were held Friday, April 16, at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with James E. Robertson and Wesley Jones officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. West was born October 11, 1893, in Gale, Texas, to John L. and Orpha Williams Taylor. She married K. W. (Knighton) July 3, 1908, in Lampasas, Texas. He preceded her in death July 3, 1973. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Jessie Ola West; and by two grandchildren Knighten Rhett "Bud" Eidson
and James W Oglesby, III.

Survivors include five daughters, Pauline West Eidson, Irene West Sargent, Ada West Kalina, Vada West Sullivan, and Wilma Fay West Oglesby
. Also one brother, Oscar Taylor, five grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dan Willis, Ken Craig, Forrest McPherson, Robert Jones, Garlon Streater, and James Ashley Eidson.

Honorary pallbearers were A. G. Kincheloe and Johnny Wagner.
