Eleanor M. Kohls, 83, of Waukesha, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was born June 14, 1917, in Scandinavia to the late Teman and Laura (Johnson) Bestul. Eleanor was employed in the Waukesha School System, along with her late husband, Charles A. Kohls, who was a physics teacher.
She will be missed by her two sisters-in-law, Arvada Bestul of Scandinavia and Mildred (George) Kuhaupt of Slinger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on April 27, 1999.
A private funeral service will be held at Randle-Dable Funeral Home. Burial will be in Scandinavia Cemetery in Iola. Memorials are appreciated to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha, 701 Northview Road, or the charity of the donors choice.
