"Funeral Rites here Friday for Noah Beery, Former Kent Resident
Funeral services for Noah Beery, 93, formerly of Kent, who died Monday, December 27, at Restwell Home, Damascus, Ore., will be held from the Chittenden parlors, Friday, December 30, at 11 o'clock.
Mr. Beery was an uncle of the screen and stage personage of the same name, and up to about 11 years ago was a resident of this city, living up on East Hill. He was born July 4, 1858, in Indiana.
He is survived by four sons, as follows: Rurel E., of Seattle; Harry and Jay of Portland, and Harvey, of Burbank, Calif.
Rev. R. N. Olson of the Christian church will officiate, and burial will be in Kent cemetery."
