Laura Lou Allen, 62, of Georgetown passed away on August 3, 2010. She was born January 9, 1948 in Georgetown to Altie & Julius R. Williams. Mrs. Allen worked as a health care worker for most of her life and loved every minute of it. She always loved helping others and would go out of her way to do anything she could to help them out of their situation. It was said she would give others the shirt off of her own back.

"She always had a smile on her face"

She loved to watch her movies and favorite television shows. Her favorite was The Young & The Restless. She also was an avid women's Professional Basketball team fan, and she also had a love for scratch-off lottery tickets.

She is survived by her daughter; Candy Williams of Georgetown, son, I'Reon Warren, sisters, Pamela Gadison, Maudie Steiner, Patsy Williams, Connie Metzger, Edith Powell, Ruby Joseph; brothers, James Williams, Robert Williams, Darrell Williams, Scott Williams, and Clint Williams; numerous other family and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Williams, sister, Barbara Williams, brother, Julius Williams.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel

Funeral Services will be Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Rocky Hollow Cemetery in Georgetown.
