RAYVILLE, La. - Bernard O'Deay, 92, was born in St. David, Ill., on May 17, 1918, and passed away Aug. 5, 2010, in Rayville, La. He retired from ANR Pipeline and Chennault Golf Course and was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Barbara Whimpey O'Deay; sons Kit O'Deay, Grants Pass, Ore., Kraig O'Deay and wife Michele, Rayville, and Kerry O'Deay and wife Linda, Lakeside, Calif.; daughter Kathleen Ennis and husband Keith, Rayville; and sister Lucille Whitehead, Springfield, Ill. He had 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Interment will be Monday, Aug. 16, in Alpha Cemetery, Alpha, Ill., under direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
