I believe this to be George Bankston, son of Lydia (who is also buried in this lot), a convicted criminal who died at a convict camp in Sugar Hill, and whose death wasn't made known to his mother until 2 months later. The date of 5/29/1900 is when his mother retrieved his body and had it buried. The lot was owned by Lydia, and I suspect that is where the "Mrs Bankston" (Cemetery records)mix-up came from in the records.

We don't know his actual death date, except that the newspaper said it was nearly 60 days earlier. His father's name was Creed L, and I suspect he is the "C. L. Bankston" in Oakland whose burial location was not recorded. (Doesn't necessarily mean Potter's Field. Only that records weren't kept. He may well be in this lot.)
