CASPER - Memorial services for Rosa "Rosie" Beatey, 64, will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 19, at Sunrise Baptist Church in Casper, with Pastor Gary Hans officiating. Cremation has taken place.
She died Aug. 14, 2004, at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center.
Born Nov. 30, 1939, in Oakwood, Okla., she was the daughter of George R. Tolman and Leoma (Arnold) Tolman. She was raised and educated in the Watonga area, Oklahoma.
On Aug. 31, 1958, in Watonga, she married J.C. Beatey. Following her husband's employment, she lived in numerous places before moving to Casper in 1975. She worked as a cashier at Gas-A-Mat for many years before retiring in 1999.
She and her husband have been faithful members of Sunrise Baptist Church for over four years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Lila Gothard and her family of Casper; and three nephews and two nieces, all of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.
