Ralph C, Steele, 91, fell asleep in death on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at his home in Decatur, IN Born in Decatur, IN, Ralph worked as a Field Representative with HWI "Do It Best" for 36 years, retiring in 1982. He loved it there. Most of all he loved his faith and was an active member of the Decatur Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, He was married to the love of his life Ethel Lapp Steele for 50 years and she preceded him in death in 1998. Surviving are his brother, Richard Steele of Jonesboro, AR sister, Mary Dellinger of Willshire, OH. He was loved and greatly respected by many nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by parents Charles F. & Mary (Plummer) Steele, three brothers, Chalmer, Ed, and Clyde Steele and a sister Ida Mae Clem. Service is 2:00 PM Saturday August 14, 2010 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with Thomas R. McFarland, officiating with calling 1 hr. prior. Additional calling 4 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens , Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
