William Thomas or Tolbert Watson, married first to Mary Elizabeth Davis on 28 January 1870 in Robertson County, Texas.
They had three children: Mary E. Watson, Pernice E. Watson Flatt Clevenger and John Robert Watson.

He married second Lucy Elizabeth Merryman on 07 February 1877 in Robertson County, Texas.
There children are: Rosa Lee Watson, William Presley Watson, James Johnson Watson, Joseph Dempsey Watson, Martha Jane Watson Clevenger, Houston Elonzo Watson, Ruth Bell Watson Sanders, Thomas Madison Watson, Infant Son Watson, Jeptha Franklin Watson and Nathan 'Nathaniel' Watson.

Year of birth on tombstone is incorrect because he was with his parents on the 1850 census in Mississippi.
