Mrs. Emeline Lathrop Wickham died Monday, April 24, 1922, at her home, Springfield. She is the widow of the late Henry M. Wickham. Mrs. Wickham was the mother of six children. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Allen of Chicago; three sons, C. H. of Springfield; William L. and Edward C. Wickham of St. Louis and a number of grand children and great grand children.

Burial of Mrs. Emeline Lathrop Wickham late today in Oak Ridge cemetery marked the passing of the last of the Lathrop family, born in Connecticut, members of which defended the United States in the revolutionary war.

Funeral services were held at the residence, North Fifth street. Many friends of Mrs. Wickham, who was past 89 years of age, and who had resided here since 1855, gathered at the home to pay tribute to the decedent. Bearing the casket to the grave were three sons, two grandsons, and a son-in-law of Mrs. Wickham.
