Mrs. Laberta Marie Confer, fifty-four, of Tionesta Star Route 2, wife of Ray M. Confer, died at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at her home.

She was born January 23, 1920, in Kellettville, a daughter of Glenn and Luella Blum Zuendel.

Her husband, Ray, survives along with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Zuendel of Tionesta Star Route 2; one son, Morris Confer of Tionesta Star Route 2; one daughter, Nancy Confer at home, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the James K. Haslet Funeral Home, Tionesta.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Rev. Gary Swogger, pastor of the First Church of God of New Castle, will officiate assisted by Rev. George Adams, supply pastor of the Erie Church of God. Interment will be in Starr Cemetery.
