Henrietta "Etta" P. Lisska Duffy, age 87, of Springfield, Oh., passed away October 17, 2001 at Villa Springfield Nursing Home. She was born in Columbus, Oh. on September 11, 1914, daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Fugiel) Lisska, immigrants from Poland. She married Joseph Duffy of Columbus on October 6, 1938. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Springfield, Oh. and was very devout in her faith.
Survivors include 4 sons and their spouses, Charles and Jennifer, Cynthiana, Ky., James and Kay, Mentor, Oh., Robert and Connie, Charlotte, N.C., Michael and Cynthia, Springfield, Oh.; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Stanley and Thomas; sisters, Helen and Josephine (Steve); brother-in-law, Edward; sisters-in-law, Katherine, Teresa (Paul), Sister Margaret Duffy, Anne and Dode; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph in 1992, infant son Carl Edward, brothers Joseph, Frank, John and Bernard, sisters-in-law Dorothy Lisska, Rowena Lisska, Zwanda Lisska, Florence Lisska, sister Mary Duffy, brothers-in-law John Duffy, Jack Hoffman and James Clingan.
Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Thomas the Apostle Church with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
