VALLEY VIEW -- Danny Jerome Renfro , 66, of Valley View, passed away Monday morning in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
Mr. Renfro was born September 22, 1934, in Madison County, the son of the late Homer and Blanche Garrett Renfro . He was a farmer and a member of the Valley View Holiness Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Girtie "Betty" Lamb Renfro ;Former wife Ruth Katherine Hill Renfro and there children , Danny Allen Renfro ; one daughter, Dianna Dean Renfro Walton; four stepsons, Ricky Rhodus (Janice), Tony Rhodus (Ellen), Gene Rhodus (Kathleen) and Dale Rhodus (Ella); five brothers, Roy Renfro (Beverly), Joe Renfro (Faye), Mike Renfro (Phyllis), Paul Hendricks (Nora) and Kenneth Hendricks (Betty); one sister, Patricia Bryant (Lesley); 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Bobby and Gary Renfro ; and a sister, Henrietta Hutchinson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Renfro Family Cemetery at Cuzick. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Randy Lamb, Shannon Cain, Tommy Perkins, Kenneth Agee, Chris Davis, Ronnie Foster and Walter Rhodus.
