Mrs. Frances Perks, 67, of Chicago, a former Rushville resident, died Sunday at noon in St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago following a heart attack.  A resident of Rushville during her girlhood days, Mrs. Perks had been employed as a secretary for the
Pure Oil Company for many years.  She was born April 14, 1894, the daughter of Lewis and Ella Neutzenhelzer.

After graduating from Rushville High School in 1912, Mrs. Perks was employed for a time in the telephone exchange here.  She then moved to Indianapolis, where she began employment with the Pure Oil Company, and several years later was transferred to Chicago by this firm.  Mrs. Perks was a member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority here.

Only survivors are three nieces, Mrs. John R. Pell of Rushville, Mrs. Patricia Heady of Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Norman Briars of Rochester, NY., and a nephew, John Neutzenhelzer of Indianapolis.  She was a sister-in-law of Roy E. Harrold of Rushville.

Dr. Frank G. Helme will conduct services at 2 p.m. Friday at the Wyatt Moore Memorial, where friends may call after noon Thursday, and burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery.
