Whiteville—Mrs. Hattie B. Young, 70, of near Clarkton, died at Thompson Hospital in Lumberton Wednesday after an illness of 10 days.
Surviving are two sons, John R. Young of Bladenboro and Frank Young of Clarkton: five brothers, Haynes L. Baldwin of Charleston, S.C., A. C. Baldwin of Clarkton, J. A. Baldwin of Pembroke, O. H. Baldwin of Whiteville and J. Henry Baldwin of Wampee, S.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy S. Townsend of Whiteville, Miss Delphia C. Baldwin of Whiteville, and Mrs. J. Ernest Gilbert of Bolivia, and four grand children.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at II o'clock at Mount Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. R. J. Rasbury of Hallsboro officiating, assisted by the Rev. S. N. Lamb of Whiteville. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
