After graduating from Hardy High School in Hardy, Nebraska, Jean went to secretarial school in Chillicothe, Missouri. This led her to a secretarial job for Dr. Musfelt in New Orleans.
She met Arthur Dillon in California and on December 17, 1949 they were married and to this union 3 children were born. They lived in California where they raised their family. She was a PTA President at Monte Vista Elementary School. After their retirement they sold their home and bought an RV and traveled to Nebraska for many years to visit relatives and made friends in Superior.
She is preceded in death by here parents, siblings, Florabelle Musfelt, Robert Dailey and June Stewart.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer Jean Witcher and husband Alan, Debra Dee Coleman and Jeffrey Jay Dillon; 5 grandchildren, Curtis and Matthew Witcher, Brian Demetrius and Brett and Patrick Dillon; 1 great-grandchild; and sister Helen Lynn from Oregon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside Memorial services were held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 9:00 AM. from the Evergreen Cemetery in Superior, Nebraska with Rev. Dr. Jocelyn Tupper officiating.
Inurnment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.
