Mary Evelyn Teague King, 90, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crowley Assembly of God, 721 S. Crowley Road, Crowley. Interment: Cope Cemetery, Retta. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Baumgardner Funeral Chapel, 212 N. Tarrant St., Crowley. Mary was born Nov. 2, 1919. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell A. King. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Elaine Thomas and the Rev. Leon W. Thomas of Carl Junction, Mo.; son, Dwain King of Denton; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
