Linda Carol (Anglen) Murphy was born on June 17, 1943 in Gans, Oklahoma to Ray Anglen and Lillian (Cowan) Anglen. She passed away at her home in Vian on August 8, 2010. Linda grew up and attended school at Gans. She married Richard William Murphy on May 23, 1959 and celebrated 51 years of marriage before her passing. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Lillian Anglen. She is survived by her husband Richard W. Murphy of the home; two children, Richard Ray Murphy and wife Ginger of Vian, Oklahoma and Donna Costes and husband Anthony of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Jessica Randolph of Cookson, Sierra Costes and Jason Costes of Sand Springs; brother, Frank Anglen of Gans, Oklahoma; sister, Patricia Campbell of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Kenneth Murphy and Anita of Vian, Oklahoma, several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones who will miss her. Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday August 11, 2010 at the Mitchell Cemetery in Gans, Oklahoma, under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Minister Steve Campbell. Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Holman, Wesley Holman, Jeremy Holman, Joshua Holman. Christopher Murphy and David Murphy. Honorary pallbearers are Logan Murphy and Michael Randolph.
