Brady took his own life. He died by a gunshot wound to the head. Suicide is such a tragedy and we need to do more to educate our children and save them from this epidemic.
Obituary~

Brady Scott McKee, age 17, of Roosevelt, passed away August 4, 2010, at his home.

He was born March 6, 1993, in Provo, to William Howard McKee and Connie Rae Jeffs. He would have been a senior at Union High School where he played for the football team.

Brady was an avid football fan and player-he pretty much ate, slept, and lived it. He also enjoyed watching mixed martial arts, listening to music, attending concerts, hunting, hitting on girls with boyfriends, hanging out with friends, and partying. He thought of himself as a cook, but he wasn't very good at it. He had a great sense of humor, always joking around and playing pranks. Family was very important to him and he always took good care of his younger brothers and sisters. He had gotten his welder's certificate and was going to pursue that as his career.

Brady is survived by his mother, Connie Laws (Jason Case), Roosevelt; father, Bill (Susan) McKee, Orem; step-father, Jared Laws, Roosevelt; brothers and sisters, Adam McKee, Memphis, Tenn.; Bailey Laws, Roosevelt; Sam McKee, Orem; Gage McKee, Gavin Laws, both of Roosevelt; Emily McKee, Orem; grandparents, Jane and Richard Jeffs, Roosevelt; grandmother, Thelma Jensen, Cedar City; great-grandparents, Fred and Pam Richins, Myton; Lorna Jeffs, Roosevelt; cousins, Cameron, Chris, Casey, Quincy Vreeken; best friend, Dennis Manning; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ryan McKee, grandfather, Ron Jensen; great-grandmother, Oma Lee Richins; great-grandfather, Floyd Jeffs.

Graveside services were held Aug. 7, at the Roosevelt Memorial Park. Condolences may be viewed and sent at www.hullingermortuary.com
