WINNSBORO - Funeral services for Essie Taylor Bell, 88, will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, Highway #34 West, Winnsboro, conducted by Rev. James I. Riley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Pope Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bell, widow of the late William Duke Bell, Sr., died Saturday, March 26, 2005. Born November 13, 1916, in Richland County, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Fannie Rabon Taylor. She was a faithful member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church in America and had retired from UniRoyal, Inc.

She is survived by a son, William D. "Billy" Bell, Jr. (Callie) of Winnsboro; daughters, Joann B. Silvia (Joe) of Winnsboro and Helen B. Malphrus (Franklin) of Ridgeland, S.C. and a sister, Ida T. Bell of Gaffney.

She was predeceased by a number of brothers and a sister. Pope Funeral Home is assisting the Bell family.
