Jack Harold Abramson, age 79, widower of Neta Hollars Abramson, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019. Jack Harold Abramson was born February 17, 1940 and departed this life Saturday, June 1, 2019 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late Leon and Virgie (Hancock) Abramson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sheri Abramson, Ann Fender, and Laura Abramson; three grandchildren, Michele Stover Mandley, Sean Bubeck and Alisha Abramson: two great grandchildren, Julia Mandley and Alex Mandley; and one brother, David Abramson.

Jack is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law: Phyllis Winfrey, Michael Hollars (Dimple), Patricia Crisostomo, Carol Johnson (Mark), Mitchell Hollars (Cheryl), Steve Hollars (Sherry), Sharon Kresen, and Tim Hollars; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Leon and Virgie Abramson, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Neta Hollars Abramson; his son, Jeff Abramson; and brother-in-law, Junior Winfrey.

Jack was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He attended South Carroll Church of the Nazarene in Eldersburg, Maryland.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 7, 2019 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.
