Geraldine Wright
Norfolk -- Geraldine M. Wright, 51, of 500
Leonard Road, a native of Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, and the widow of William N. Wright,
died Monday in a hospital.
She had been employed at Gibson Card
Co. for three years.
Survivors include her mother, Mayme J.
Steyne of Cedar Rapids; a son, Edward
Chambless of Norfolk; seven sisters,
Jacqueline Gaskill of Naperville, Ill.,
Roberta Milke of Swisher, Iowa, Patricia
Osweiler of Williamsburg, Iowa, Carolyn
Custer and Kathryn A. Peel, both of Fort
Walton, Fla., Lynda K. Duncan of Cedar
Rapids and Leah R. Fisher of Corpus Christi,
Texas; and two brothers, John E Steyne of
Pensacola, Fla., and Daniel M. Steyne of
Cedar Rapids.
A Christian wake will be held at 7 p.m. today
in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater
Drive Chapel. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wed-
nesday in Arlington National Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home from
7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may
be sent to the American Cancer Society or
to the Navy Relief Fund.
