Alta Mai Hall, daughter of Bartimus and Mary Hall, was born July 3, 1876, near Homer, Illinois, and departed this life March 2, 1921, at the age of 44 years, 7 months and 29 days. On September 27, 1898, she was united in marriage with Isaac Paul Soales. Three children were born to this union – Bartimus Paul, Gladys Paulette, Lawrence Omar. Baby Paul departed this life at the age of 5 months. Mrs. Soales leaves to mourn her departure, husband, son, daughter and her aged mother who resides with the family. Also two brothers – Charles of Homer, Ill., Fay of Decatur and one sister, Mrs. Mary Thompson of Frankfort, Ind. The deceased united with the Presbyterian church at the age of seventeen. After her removal to this community she with her family united with the Ebenezar Evangelical church, and lived a true and faithful Christian life to the end.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Union Center church.
