Martin, Margaret E., age 76, of Whiting, passed away Monday, August 15, 1983, at home. Survivors: one daughter, Mary Ann (John) Robert of Whiting; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Bea) West of Whiting; one sister, Gertrude Christianson of East Chicago.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18, 10 a.m., at the Owens Funeral Home, 816 – 119th St., Whiting, with the Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Burial, Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Whiting Eastern Star.
