Mrs. Edward Taylor, age 57, died May 11. Mrs Taylor was formerly Miss Elizabeth Clemons Etchison of Davie County, N.C. She was married to Edward Taylor in 1881, coming to this state in 1890. To this union was born seven children, two of who are dead. The surviving children, Geo. Taylor of this city, Holden Taylor of Little Rock, Shannon Taylor of North Third Street, Mrs Mary Clark of Beech Grove and Joe Taylor of this city. Funeral was conducted by Rev. E. Z. Newsom, interment in Brown's Chapel Cemetery.
