An obituary for Julia Ann Cover was published in the Thermopolis Independent paper, in Thermopolis, Hot Springs County, on Feb. 17, 1928. It reads:

Mrs. Julia Ann Cover, wife of Marion Cover, passed away at a local hospital Saturday February 11, after an illness of several weeks (actually it was only 4 or 5 days since a chiropracter broke her gall bladder during a treatment). Julia Ann Cover was born at Portland, Oregon May 13th (or 31st), 1871. She had lived in Wyoming for many years and was well known to the old timers of the Big Horn Basin country. The deceased is survived by the husband, two sons and two daughters, namely Robert Sherard of Thermopolis, John Sherard of Rifle, Colorado; Mrs. Olive Hayes of Lenore, Wyoming & Mrs. Myrtle Reese of Casper. Three sisters & 3 brothers who survive are Mrs. Hank Cover of Thermopolis, Mrs. Katherine Harmon of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Margaret Taylor of Kaycee, Wyoming, James Stanley of Kaycee, Wyoming, Al Stanley of Buffalo and J. M. Stanley of California. Relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. & Mrs. John Cover, Mrs. & Mr. George Coleman of Sheridan, Mrs. Eliza Paterson, Morrell Peterson of Kaycee, Julia Carr of Buffalo & Mr. & Mrs. Jack Morton of Douglas. The deceased was a member of the Royal Neighbors lodge and American War Mothers. The services were held at the Knight Mortuary Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with the Royal Neighbors in charge. The War Mothers attended the funeral in a body. Interment was made at Riverside Cemetery.

Gravesite Details

Found a Julia Cover. Date of Death did not match and grave was one grave south of recorded location relative to adjacent graves. Cemetery office has only one Julia Cover on record. I believe this is the Julia Cover requested. William Glover October
