Died After Brief Illness

The community was shocked last Wednesday afternoon to hear of the death of Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Richtcr, widow of the late Carl Richter, at her home on Market Street, after having been ill only since Saturday, suffering from pleurisy.

Mrs Richter, who was 71 years ot age, is survived by the following children: Theodore E. Richter of Flemington, N. J.: I Rev. George M. Richter, Chicago, Ill. ; Otto G. Richter, Hammonton, N. J.; C Morns Richter and Herman Richter, Etiizabethville, Mrs. William Travis, Holmesburg; Anna E. Richter and Hertha B Richter of Washington, D. C. ; and Mr Harry 0. Chubb of this place.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from her late home, with H. C.. Mathias pastor of the United Brethren Church officiating. Interment in the M. E. cemetery.
