Services for Harry Beach Crawford, long-time resident of Hayden, were held at graveside in the Steamboat Springs cemetery at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 1978. Officiating was the Rev. Harold Raines.

Pallbearers included Gordon Miles, Jerry Bowen, Vernon Summers, Tim Driver, Glen Werner and Chancho Salazar. Honorary pallbearers were Delano Scott, Jack Sprengle and Jack Zehner.

Crawford passed away at his residence in Hayden on March 4, 1978. He was eighty years old at the time of his death.

Born in Natoma, Kansas on November 2, 1897, he later came to Routt County. He married Irene Booco on November 13, 1926 in Steamboat Springs. He was a bookkeeper by profession.

Surviving him are his widow; one son, Robert Alfred Crawford of Sonoma, California; one half-brother, Fred Hamm of Salina, Kansas; one grandchild, Arietta Schwarz of Sonoma; one great grandchild, Scheaky Schwarz of Sonoma; and two cousins, Charles Crawford of Laramie, Wyoming and Donald Crawford of Kansas.
