Reported missing presumed killed in action when HMS Trollope was
torpedoed by a German E-Boat resulting in the ship breaking in half
off the coast of Cap d'Antifer, France.

No other grave but the sea.

Awarded 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star and War Medal 1939-1945.
