According to The Times, (Munster, Indiana of 11 Oct. 1944), Richard was from Valparaiso, husband of the former Joan Hudzik, 422 155th St. Calumet City. In service with infantry forces since June 1942, Pfc. Tucker was trained at Camp Forrest, Tenn., Camp Phillips, Kan., and Fort Dix, N.J.

He had been on overseas assignment since July, 1944. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tucker of Valparaiso.
