Alta Francis Buck, 92, of Paragould, died May 25, 2008 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Born December 11, 1915 in Lexington, Tennessee, she was retired from Paragould Laundry and was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Leland and Anita Buck, Alvin and Puggy Buck, Jackie and Nina Buck, and Jerry and Cheryl Buck, all of Paragould, and Gaylon and Sheri Buck of Houston, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Dorothy McCollum of Michigan; two sisters, Roofie Buck and Virginia Buck, both of Lexington, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary Ann McCollum, her husband, Lelon Buck, and five sisters.

Funeral services will be 1:30 P. M. Tuesday, May 27 at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Royce Boling officiating. Burial will be in Brown's Chapel Cemetery.
