Rev. Benjamin F. Cannon was an old time Baptist preacher. He lived in and served the areas of Hempstead, Sevier, Little River, and Polk Counties in Arkansas from at least 1876 until his death in 1928. He was the son of Dr. Andrew Jackson Cannon and Malinda Sawyer.
