He was born Sept. 8 1934, in Clark County to Gene Broy and Iva Dorman. He was employed by the Clark County Highway Department, was a member of Clark County Conservation Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1527, Jeffersonville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Mary Broy of Utica; a son Jimmy Broy of Utica; a daughter Peggy Robertson and her husband, Kenneth, of Jeffersonville; granddaughter Holly Atkins and her husband, Josh, of Utica; grandson Tyler Broy, of Utica; brother Ralph Lewis and his wife, Sandy, of Jeffersonville; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday.
