5:30 (3:30) o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. Roy Kracke,
2804 Dubuque Street. She had been ill for the past two weeks.
Deceased was born November 20, 1858 at Charles City, Iowa and was united in
marriage to C.A. Cole in 1873. She came to Davenport 28 years ago and has
made her home here continuously since that time. Mrs. Cole was a member of
the Catherine Duffin Tent, Daughters of Veterans.
Three daughters survive. They are Mrs. Gwendolyn Stevenson-Ghyon of Waco,
Texas, Mrs. Theodore W. Carter of Silver City, New Mexico, Mrs. R. S. Kracke
of Davenport.
Funeral services will be held from the late home at 2804 Dubuque Street,
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Dr. Frank Cole officiating interment will be
at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa, Scott County.
